I did this walk the first time with my son in 2008 when he was eight years old. This time the track was a lot more defined and easier to follow. It was relatively easy walk of about between half a day and a day, although there are some long ascents. The view from the falls is spectacular and I met no other party of walkers once I got onto the Vera Falls track.
